INTRADITION'17

INTRADITION'17

On November 26th, between 11 am and 7 pm, Sintra hosted a special event: Intradition'17, a celebration of traditional and contemporary Portuguese jewelry.

The chosen venue was the cozy Chalet 12, at 12 Desidério Cambournac Avenue, a family home transformed into a co-working and events space, where history and creativity meet.

A metting of tradition and innovation in Portuguese goldsmith

Focusing on artisanal techniques such as Portuguese filigree Intradition'17 brought together eight Portuguese jewelry designers, with unique interpretations of tradition and contemporary design:

Liliana Alves, Sara Sousa Pinto, Gabriela Styliano, Rosa Antunes – Eleuterio Jewels, Rosário Neves, Adelaide Carvalho – Pé d'Mar, Eugénio Matos – Jóias d'Avó, and Manuel Alcino – Alcino Silversmith 1902

The designers were present with their exclusive pieces available for sale, creating an atmosphere of closeness and sharing with the public.

O Intradition'17 was an event that brought customers closer to the designers behind their favorite pieces, fostering a direct connection between those who make and those who appreciate Portuguese jewelry.

Chalet 12: A Space with History, Talent and Family

Chalet 12 perfectly reflects the spirit of Ourivesaria Arneiro, the company organizing the event. With three generations working side by side, Arneiro represents the transmission of knowledge, technique, and passion for goldsmithing.

A family legacy that transforms and reinvents itself over time, just like the event itself.

Attendees were able to:

Meet the designers and hear their stories and creative processes

Watch live jewelry creation, highlighting traditional filigree. Actively participate in the experience of creating a piece of jewelry. Enjoy a warm, informal, and inspiring atmosphere. Live music and a cozy atmosphere.

The event's atmosphere was enhanced by live music by guitarist Luís Dória, who provided a subtle and elegant soundtrack throughout the day, making the experience even more memorable.

A Challenge for the Future

At the end of the event, participating designers were presented with a special challenge for the next edition of Intradition: each will create an exclusive, limited-edition piece, designed especially for the event.

A promise of continuity and innovation that is already sparking curiosity and anticipation among lovers of Portuguese jewelry.

An Event with a Purpose
Intradition'17 wasn't just about jewelry; it was about connection, identity, and memory. An opportunity to honor the past, value the present, and inspire the future of Portuguese goldsmith.
