Arneiro 1969 × My Red Carpet: the story of the partnership and why we believed in this project.

Our partnership with Sofia Cerveira began long before the podcast. It began with gala evenings and red carpets, in the moments when a piece of Arneiro jewellery helped complete the perfect look. So when we learned that the new season of My Red Carpet would be filmed in Sintra, the decision came naturally: to continue what we had already built, this time in front of the cameras.

A relationship that began away from the cameras

Over the years, Sofia has chosen Arneiro pieces for special moments in her public life. Each event called for a different piece, and each choice was made with the same care: understanding the occasion, the dress, the light, the person. This partnership was born from that trust, built piece by piece.

Why we believed in this project

My Red Carpet is built on genuine conversations, and that is exactly the kind of time and attention we give every client who walks into our store. We believed in this project because we share the same values: authenticity, elegance and a love of storytelling. We also believed in it because of the place. Arneiro has been in the historic centre of Sintra since 1969. Seeing the town, its palaces and its atmosphere become the setting for an entire season is, for us, a way of taking Sintra even further, and of being present where we have always been.

Episodes in the palaces of Sintra

We are part of this new season, filmed in several Parques de Sintra palaces, with Sofia wearing Arneiro jewellery chosen in advance to suit the spirit of each place.

The idea is not for the jewellery to take centre stage, but to be a natural part of each conversation, just as it is part of the lives of those who wear it.

The moment of choice

Before filming, Sofia visited our store in Sintra. With Mafalda, she looked through rings, necklaces and earrings, tried them on, took her time and chose the pieces that would accompany her throughout the season.

Part of that moment can be seen in the first episode, and it shows what we love most about our work: choosing calmly, in the right light, the piece that feels right.

My Red Carpet, episode one: Joaquim de Almeida

The season opens with Joaquim de Almeida, one of Portugal's most internationally recognised actors, in a conversation filmed at the Palácio da Vila.

Over the coming weeks, we will share behind-the-scenes moments from each episode on our Instagram @arneiro1969, in collaboration with Sofia @sofcerveira. At the end of the season, we will come back here with a summary of the partnership, all the episodes and the jewellery worn in each one.

Sintra has always been our home. This season, it is also home to My Red Carpet.
