With our hands in tradition For four hours, we invite you to enter the world of Portuguese goldsmithing: to learn about its history, its techniques, and the hands that keep it alive. Alongside artisan Inês Barbosa, she will create her own filigree piece in 925 silver, handmade, which will forever preserve the memory of this day.

Made by yourself, finished in the workshop. The piece you create in the workshop then goes to Inês Barbosa's workshop, where it is soldered and finished with the care a jewel deserves. Afterwards, it is sent to you (or you can pick it up at the Arneiro 1969 store in Sintra).

Who is giving guidance? The artisan Inês Barbosa In Inês Barbosa's family, filigree has been passed down through generations for over a century. She learned the craft from her father in Póvoa de Lanhoso, and since 1978 she has dedicated herself to this art, thread by thread, using the traditional techniques of Portuguese goldsmithing. In her workshop, tradition takes on contemporary forms, inspired by antique Portuguese jewelry and nature. Recognized as a master craftswoman, she represents Portuguese jewelry in exhibitions worldwide and has been teaching since 1992. Today, her daughters continue the legacy. Learn more
