Last November 25th, 2018, Arneiro 1969 organized a second edition of INTRADITION – “INTRADITION18” at the restaurant A Casa in Várzea de Sintra. This edition continues to honor the business’ history with a special focus on the period in which Reinaldo Arneiro would sell his wares at the markets of the central region. Around this moment of the company’s history, Arneiro 1969 devised the mechanism of the event, inviting 10 designers, each with their own stand in an allusion to the various markets Reinaldo Arneiro would travel to.
The second edition of INTRADITION developed around the concept of “It’s another History. Ours.” This edition arose out of the desire to honor Arneiro 11969’s history and highlight the importance that their partners have played in their success. Each one of the 10 invited designers has been attributed an emotional value, one common to both parties.
Joias d´Avó – Dedication | Liliana Alves – Strength | Mater – Belief | Sara Maia – Love | Gabriela Styliano – Perseverance | Fernando Martins Pereira – Determination | Alcino – Family | Pé d´Mar – Balance | Eleutério – Exclusivity | Sara Sousa Pinto – Evolution | as a way to recognize the good work and ethical moral stance, which enables them to be successful and with that contribute to Arneiro 1969´s success throughout the years. It was a moment to celebrate the tradition, the values, and the best that Jewelry Making has to offer in Portugal.
It was at a stand such as this, that conceptually everything began and at this stand the event ended. Here, with a singular highlight, the designers exhibited the pieces they created as part of Arneiro 1969’s initiative launched at the 2017 edition to represent what they felt at INTRADITION´17 as well as the emotional connection they had with the business. Each creator presented their piece, speaking about what had inspired them and what it represented emotionally to them. From this challenge was born a new and exclusive Arneiro 1969 collection, numbered and limited in production, the INTRADITION collection.
This was a moment of connection, unity, and strong emotions that served as the conclusion of this event and to this story that took place in November, in Várzea de Sintra.
And now? Now it is another History. Ours.
